I spent my youth studying and creating art. I went to the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, TX. This led me to study Fashion Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. After two years in the program, I decided to take a year off from school. I spent that time working at Bloomingdale’s 59th street and quickly fell in love with the business side of retail. I chose not to return to Pratt and started to study Fashion Merchandising Management at FIT in Manhattan, NY. I believe that my years of visual art training helped me become detailed, tenacious, and process driven.
